Personal Biography
Chinedum has 15 years of hands-on construction experience. Before joining the construction industry, he started his career in Architecture, Design and Contract administration; where he served in roles of Junior Architect and Staff Architect.
His initial role in the construction industry was as an Estimator, from which he rose to the ranks of Executive Vice President and oversaw the day-to-day administration of construction contracts and business development.
His biggest strengths include, business development, contract negotiations, partnerships and client relations. Over the course of his professional career, he has closed construction contracts of over $100 million, starting from business development, proposal/bid preparation, contract negotiations to award. He was very instrumental in setting up joint ventures with various ENR 400 rated construction companies.
On the operations side, he has held Project Management and Project Executive roles on projects ranging from $5 million to $50 million for clients like DC Department of General Services (DGS), Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development (DMPED) and the University of the District of Columbia (UDC).
The Chief Executive Officer reports directly to, and is accountable to, the Board of Directors for the performance of a company. The Board of Directors (BoD) is a group of individuals who are elected to represent the shareholders of the company.
